Multi-site electronics manufacturer

A shared production view across plants

An electronics manufacturer connected local shop-floor records to its ERP and gave operations leaders a common view of production across facilities.

Production data stayed at the plant

Each facility could report what it had produced, but answering the same question across all sites meant collecting reports from several places. A local production record and an ERP transaction also served different purposes. When the two didn’t line up, the team had to work out where the difference came from before it could act on the numbers.

Connecting the local record to the ERP

Pocket-E Sync translated shop-floor production and inventory activity into ERP transactions. The transaction history gave the team a place to follow an update from the originating record through to its posting status.

Pocket-E Beacon used the connected production records for a common reporting view. An operations lead could review output and performance by site, then narrow the view to the facility or production area that needed attention.

Starting the operations review from a shared view

The team could compare activity across facilities from one dashboard. When a number needed a closer look, there was a path back to the plant and its production records, giving the local team something specific to investigate.
