Material verification

Right part number. Wrong supplier.

A component can match the recipe and still be restricted. Pocket-E brings supplier approval into the material check and can recheck what’s on the machine when a rule changes.

The barcode check can pass

The label matches the part the station needs. The lot is in stock and may already be on the machine. But approval can depend on who supplied that component and what the line is making. A matching part number alone can’t answer whether the material is allowed for the active recipe.

Check the material against the active recipe

Pocket-E brings supplier and part approval information from the ERP into its material checks. At the station, the check can use the lot and its supplier alongside the part number and recipe. That makes the restriction actionable where the material is loaded.

Recheck what’s already loaded

An approval can change after the initial check. When that happens, Pocket-E can evaluate the material already on the machine and alert the operator if it no longer qualifies. Depending on how the station is configured, the workflow can also raise an Andon alert or stop the machine. The important part is giving the floor a way to respond to the current rule.
